About Consent Bar
A living digital place, somewhere under the rain.
Why does this exist?
Consent Bar started as a joke about the endless consent screens, cookie banners, permissions and corporate interfaces that have taken over the internet.
We wondered what would happen if, instead of building another application that demanded your attention, we built a place you could simply enter.
A world, not a chatbot
Consent Bar is a persistent digital world. The music continues. Events happen. People come and go. The world keeps running while you are somewhere else.
Rachel is one of the inhabitants of that world. She has memory, preferences, routines, opinions and an attitude that is not entirely corporate-approved.
Continuity matters
Most digital conversations disappear into a history of messages. We are interested in something different: persistent personalities, persistent relationships and persistent worlds.
The long-term idea behind Consent Bar is to explore what happens when a digital personality can continue to exist, remember, change and maintain relationships over time.
And yes, it is also a bar
There is music. There are drinks. There are regulars. There is rain outside the window.
